Aah yes, now I think we're getting somewhere with this, my 4th solo album. It's me playing and singing lots of songs about hauntings, shrieking statues, evil plants, doomed seances, accursed portraits, strange animals, dilapidated cellars, unmentionable entities, madness, death, things worse than death and so on. It's quite funny. Instrumentally centered around a budget classical guitar (fallen to bits now) and an even cheaper air-powered electric organ (likewise returned to the dust from whence it came), accompanied by electric guitar, bass, drums and violin. I recorded most of it in a very large, open, empty barn with just a few microphones to get a raw, naturally reverberant sound along with occasional noises from outside (birds, wind, dogs, farm machinery...)
